In Science Camp, campers will get a chance to experience science and all of the fun that comes with it. By doing age appropriate experiments through visual hands-on learning, your camper will experience God in a whole new way. This wilderness experience will take high school adventurers to new heights (literally)! Campers will be challenged to learn new things, work as a team, and see God and creation from a different perspective. Take a week to UNPLUG and engage in the stunning mountains God created in Southwest Montana. Campers will need to be able to hike 4-7 miles per day while carrying all personal and group belongings. Night one will be spent at YAA with the following four nights in the Gallatin National Forest.

Every Labor Day, families within the C&MA gather for a weekend of unforgettable fun at camp. This year, one of our Rocky Mountain District pastors will be our featured speaker. From quality family fellowship, to YAA camp activities to truly exceptional cooked meals, you don’t want to miss out! Space is very limited – please inquire to book your spot!

We are committed to making sure that camp is affordable for every household.
Please contact your local church first to see if scholarships are available to send your camper to YAA. If further financial assistance is needed, or you do not attend a church, we invite you to apply for a scholarship.

How do I send my child's medication (including prescriptions, over-the-counter meds, allergy meds, inhalers, vitamins, etc.)?All medications, supplements, vitamins etc. must be turned into our camp staff at drop-off (please have medications easily accessible at registration). Prescription medications (including inhalers and EpiPens) must come with either an attached prescription label or a signed physician’s note. Campers can only take prescription medications if prescribed in their name.

How much money will my camper need for the Camp Store?YAA camps are cashless. You may preload money on your camper’s account by logging into your YAA account here. Suggested camp store amount for 1 week of camp is $30-$40. (Snacks, drinks, ice cream, etc. range from $1-$5. Gifts and apparel range from $5 – $50.)

What is the cancellation policy?If a cancellation is requested prior to 2 weeks before the start date of the camp, YAA will provide a refund of the amount paid (minus the non-refundable deposit). What time is overnight camp registration and pick-up?You will receive a detailed email with drop-off times, pick-up times, cabin assignments, and other pertinent information approximately one week prior to your camper’s start date. We ask that you please adhere to your assigned drop-off time in order to reduce wait times.

What if I am dropping off more than one camper?We will do our best to align your campers’ drop-off times. In the event that your drop-off times are different, we ask that you wait in the parking lot until your assigned drop-off time.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio for cabin groups?For our overnight camps, we guarantee a 6-to-1 ratio of campers to counselors in a cabin. This means a cabin could go up to 14 people with 12 campers and 2 counselors but usually ends up being 10 campers to 2 counselors.

Can I send food/snacks with my child for the week?We ask that you please do not send food with your child to avoid mess in the cabin bunk areas as well as any risk of exposing other campers to potential allergens. We promise to keep your child well fed all week!

Can my child have their cell phone with them?Part of what we are most proud of at YAA is providing kids with a week of camp ‘unplugged’ from normal routine. We ask that you DO NOT send cell phones with your kids and encourage them to fully enter into the week of camp. (Please note – our college and senior-level staff will have their phones on them for necessary communication purposes and in case of any emergencies.)
