Joshua Project: May 27-July 29, 2019
YAA is looking for college students who are excited about serving Jesus in Montana!
The Joshua Program…
- Takes place in the beautiful mountains of Montana!
- Is designed for those people who desire to develop as effective leaders.
- Provides intentional experiences to challenge and deepen your faith in Jesus Christ.
- Takes place over the course of eight, exciting, adventure filled weeks that you will never forget!
YAA’s Joshua Staff creates the framework by which camp runs. We need Joshua Staff for many different positions!
Residential Camp Counselor – Counselors are on the front line, with the most direct impact on campers’ lives. They are on fire for sharing the gospel and giving campers the best week of their summer.
Photographer / Media Assistant – Document all of the fun, crazy adventures here at YAA! Capture all of the unforgettable memories and experiences that campers have.
Food Service Assistant – Camp literally could not happen without the food service assistants! Serve the Lord through your passion of cooking and learn from our master chef as you prepare thousands of meals throughout the summer.
Building, Grounds, and Equipment (BG&E) Assistant – Work behind the scenes as you strive to keep camp up and running. BG&E Assistants are mentored by our Maintenance Director – be prepared to learn so much more than you ever thought you could!
Worship Leader – The Worship Leader is passionate about witnessing to others through music. We are looking for people who love to lead campers through songs that will show them who Jesus is.
Timothy Program Leader – The Timothy Program is the high school leadership development program. The Timothy Leaders are Joshua Staff members who are committed to investing in the 20 high schoolers over the course of 6 weeks.
Residential and Day Camp Program Assistant – Dive deep into camp and have one of the most incredible summers of your life. The Program Assistant gets to serve the campers by planning schedules, games, and programs – and be a leader among fellow Joshua Staff members.

Justin Moore | Timothy Program Leader
Joshua Project 2017
Being on staff at YAA was the most enriching experience in my faith and character. Serving alongside amazing people in an environment that fosters service, care, and growth through challenge was a humbling experience that showed me more of who God is. God is active and made us for community—with him and other believers. I’ve seen and experienced the Holy Spirit’s work through changes in camper’s hearts, growth in leaders, and in the environment of YAA.

The community here is like no other. It is in a beautiful part of Montana. Be prepared to see God work through you and to invest in campers.

Working at YAA will be one of the most challenging and growth filled summers of your life with community like you have never experienced before.

Working as an assistant in the YAA kitchen shaped my love for service behind the scenes. It wasn’t always glamorous or calm, but laughter prevailed through it all. I really value the times spent around the counter chopping vegetables for salad while enjoying conversation with others who dropped by or belting out one of our favorite songs. It was a time of growth in my desire to serve, and a time of great fun!
