Q: How can I give by check?

You may give during services or send a check to 13707 Cottonwood Canyon Rd.
Bozeman, Montana 59718.

Q: Is it safe to give online?

Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. The security of the system is continually managed by Paypal, who securely processes our online giving.

Q: What types of bank accounts can I give from?

You can give online from your checking account, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express and eCheck.

Q: Are there any fees involved with giving online?

Not to you. You will not pay any fees with an online gift.

Q:  What about End-of-Year Donations?

A: The general IRS rule is that a donation is effective when delivered.  This means that a check received by YAA in January 2019 cannot be deducted in 2018, even if backdated to 2017.  One exception – checks mailed and postmarked by December 31, 2018 are deductible in 2018 even though not received until 2019. The donor is responsible for ensuring that the U.S. Postal Service postmarks the envelope by December 31, 2018. If in doubt, we suggest that you hand-deliver the mailing envelope to the post office and have them stamp the postmark on the envelope. Online donations may be made until midnight on December 31. Please Do Not file your taxes before receiving your contribution statement from YAA, which is sent out in January.
